September is getting by me. There is still a lot of yard work to do. A neighbor cleared some invasives from the property line between our yards and we burned the brush. It took two days to get most of it burned. The pile was large enough that it continued burning a day and a half.
Meg also ordered some IKEA furniture to update her house. It took a while to get everything set up. We still have two pieces to put together.
So far it is shaping up to be a spectacular fall. The fruit trees are loaded and there are lots of acorns and berries.

It is fall migration season and the Great Egrets are coming through. They are almost as large as the herons.

In my experience, IKEA furniture assembly can be greatly facilitated with a power screwdriver. Maybe that tool was off-camera? Meg may want to also consider more foot protection (but, where is the fun, then?).
