Late October 2023

Late October was a busy time for me. It just flew by.

My Aunt had a ninety-fifth birthday party last summer and we missed it because we were having our family gathering on the cape at the same time. She wanted to see us, so her children suggested an early Thanksgiving dinner to get us all together. Seven of the eight Moeller siblings were able to make it to Chicago for the early Thanksgiving. It was really nice to get together with most of my brothers and sisters.

We also had the neighborhood extortionists to deal with at Meg’s house. It was cold and raining but we were mostly cleaned out by the end of the evening.

The really scary stuff occurred at the neighborhood BYO.

We also got a start at managing the leaves at Meg’s house. They are coming down by the bushels now.

Fall is a busy time here and we also got started on the leaves at home. The gardens also need attention. I have a hard time adjusting to it being November already.
