Just Fun!
Kate-Lynne Alan, Meg’s friend from South Africa arrived for a visit.
One of the first things we do is to take her on an orientation pedal on the kayaks. She seemed to adapt to them reasonably well. She and Meg took pictures while Andrew and Mark fished. It was a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon.
The kayaks are well suited to both taking pictures and fishing. They are stable and highly maneuverable leaving the hands free for other tasks. It is also easy to transport them on our cars so we can visit multiple sites easily.

They encountered Meg’s yard visitor as well, the Yellow Crowned Night Heron.
After the familiarization adventure, everyone is ready to go out and try again. It looks like we will need another kayak.
