We are mostly agreed that 2021 was just another 2020 but I feel we need to document it’s passing.
We did have a white Solstice:
Saint Nickolas has been responsible for delivering Solstice gifts for quite awhile. I cannot complain as I had the best Solstice EVAH. You can tell how much I am appreciated by this well thought out gift:

I mean does it ever get any better than this. I guess St. Nick must have heard your petitions:

We had a pleasant Solstice Morning:
BOIDS

We try to feed the crows puppy kibble and it had worked well in the past. The turkeys and SQRLs have found that they like it too and have made it difficult to deliver it to the crows.

This heading doesn’t begin to do it justice. This is when we pack on fat to survive the rest of the winter.
All is good except the house tried to kill us again. I don’t mean to suggest that they sold us a haunted house, but this wasn’t the first time. Wink smelled gas for about a week and Mark couldn’t smell it. Andrew and Meg came over and said the smell was rather noticeable. So we hit the gas emergency shut off and evacuated the pets. So we contacted our propane supplier and they came right away to investigate the problem. Our cook top was compromised and they cut the gas supply and capped it. So we have no cooktop now.

It was just in time for the holiday season. Mark was intrigued by induction cooktops and ordered two as a temporary measure. Unfortunately only one frying pan was ferromagnetic and compatible with the induction systems. Go figure. So Wink bought a cheap pan set to limp along. There is a learning curve associated with converting to induction.

Weather went from cold to warm and freezing rain. Not everyone appreciated it.

We survived another Holiday Season. We are hopeful that 2022 will improve over 2021.

So glad you snagged those busts for Meg! They’re so kitch! Love them. Especially the woman! Happy New Year All!
