It is really ruff living in NewMahket where “nuttin evah happens” and “there is nuttin to do.” I think spring is one of my favorite times of year here. It is lush, green and flowers are starting to bloom.

Meg and Winked walked down to the dock to check on the horseshoe crabs and took the Lupine pictures on the way home. They saw quite a few crabs.

Mark’s blueberries have bloomed and started to bud. You would think the critters would let the fruit mature before eating the berries. Alas, that is not to be.

We have been seeing quite a few baby birds.

We have also been seeing birds on the bay.

The fox has been hanging around. It even came to the feeder and ate some of the bird seed we put on the ground.

We have seen quite a few does. They are spreading out now.

We have a few squirrels but the numbers are still down a bit.

We heard a fisher cat screaming the other night. I took some video and extracted the soundtrack for your listening pleasure. You may need to turn the volume up as it is not as clear as I would like.
