It is time to blog again. Nothing extraordinary has happened but enough interesting things have happened that I have ninety-one pictures for this blog. I suppose that is one of the great things about living in Moody Point. It is possible to see something of interest just walking the dog.
Cybil is a classic example of the progress modern plastic surgery has made.
Kayak Adventure 2021-04
We saw these guys out fishing in their pedal kayaks and that motivated us to go out in our paddle kayaks and give it a go.
We decided to go fish at the mouth of the Squamscott River during the moving tide. So we left the dock as soon after low tide that we could get the kayaks out. Unfortunately when we got to the river, the tide was moving too fast for us to fish with our current kayaks. So we beached the kayaks and fished from shore.
We fished most of the moving tide without result. We know there were fish there because we watched the Osprey catch them. We didn’t bring one of the big cameras because this was a fishing expedition. It was a beautiful paddle and we saw quite a bit of wildlife, unfortunately no pictures. We had our hands full enough just managing the fishing equipment. We did bring the waterproof camera just in case we caught a fish.
BOIDS
We watched the herons on the shore from the Living Room. We could see them catching eels. Not too bad?
Baseball Season
We saw that baseball season was underway, albeit not in our backyard. We saw hens with baseballs in two different locations on the same day, on Cushing Road and n Hwy 108.
Last year it wasn’t until football season that we saw the babies in our yard. We are hopeful we do better this year.

I don’t have too much to add. We are getting by. We are concerned about the new COVID variants and are remaining circumspect.
