This all came about because the kids said I needed to find my buddha like nature.
We were sitting at dinner when I suggested I would like a meditation station within listening distance of the pond. I sketched on a napkin what I had in mind. It was somewhat similar to the top of a Shinto gate. I said it should be about as tall as Matt.

Matt Gunn said he thought he understood what I wanted and could make it happen. We went on vacation to Greece and Turkey and it magically appeared.

The siting was under the cedar trees close to the pond to have some privacy but still be able to hear the pond.
Matt posted to a rock group on facebook and they suggested that a better comparison is the Inuit inukshuk. Pictures of other inukshuks can be found HERE.

The pumpkins are an offering to nature that abounds in our yard. Eventually they will fid and eat them.

Namaste …
