Early September 2022

September is almost over and I have been sitting on these pictures for awhile. I decided to do the NH Scottish Games blog before this one. Enough is going on that I hope to get one more September blog out this year. Wink and I picked up a bug at the festival and have been recuperating. We both tested negative for COVID so it is likely just a bad cold.

We got a load of firewood and managed to get it stacked.

Mammals

This deer is having a tough time but likely can survive this event. She can still grow in a winter coat before it gets too cold.

Mark’s Folly

Wink enjoys feeding the fish. It is relaxing to sit out and just enjoy the Koi Pond.

Kayak Adventure 2022-16

We did get out kayak fishing again and the bite was really slow.

In spite of not much fishing action, it was a very pleasant paddle.

Beaver

This juvenile cormorant put on a show for us.

Fun with Food

Harvey Wallbangers

Fun with Benji

Not too much more to add. I had this on the back burner long enough.

There is a lot of yard work to do. We will get around to it once we start feeling better.

There probably is a leaf viewing trip in our immediate future.

  1. Wow! What a cute little frog! Where did you find him? Are there any frogs near your pond? Great pics of the food too!

  2. Absolutely loving the blog Mark! You are so creative and have such a varied take on life and add such interesting titbits to your absolutely gorgeous photographs. I love the variety!
