May just blew by me. We have been home almost a month now and are still way behind the seasonal work. The yard continues to delight us and motivate us to get out and work on it. The mud hole in the backyard is taking shape.
BOIDS
It is almost if the birds think the water feature is for them. It is beginning to take it’s final shape.
The birds think it is just a grand bird spa.
It is becoming a popular attraction.
The turkeys are here nearly every day.
We put out dog food in the morning to feed the crows. The crows have to run a gauntlet of the smaller birds protecting their nesting area. The blackbirds even drive the hawks away.

Kayak Adventure 2022-03c
We went out and drowned a few more worms. The fish are plentiful enough we can catch them on artificials. It is nice to get out.
I got a new toy. Unfortunately it doesn’t work as well as I hoped it would. Always looking for an easier way.
So it is pretty much Good Bye to May with the hope we will start to catch up in June and have fun along the way.
A couple more vacation blogs to go.

Great bird photos and videos! Excellent pond! I want one! Are you planning to add Koi to the pond?
