I thought I was going to do only two December blogs but somehow I ended up with 82 pictures before Christmas. So I guess I will do a follow on Holiday blog. We did end up with a white Solstice.
We have consistently been on the rain/snew line resulting a heavy wet snew. We have hired people to plow our driveway this year for the first time. We struggled clearing the icy mess last year.
Cyrus was starting to get into the Solstice Season and added an elf hat to their ensemble. It didn’t really fit but the intent was there.
One of the traditions we adopted since we moved to New Hampshire was to help Santa with stocking gifts by browsing antique stores the week before Solstice. We missed it last year. Meg found a treasure this year.
Meg now has a house and needs to furnish it. The funny thing is that nobody noticed the busts on either side until we saw this picture!
Meg regrets not getting the busts as well.
BOIDS
We have the usual characters watching over the place for us.
Both of these guys are big enough to eat sqrls, I wish they would get busy and clean up the yard.
We got Solstice presents for the birds. Meg has set up feeders on her back porch and invited me over to take a few pictures. Meg’s house is on a little more than an acre, wooded and abutting a river.
Mammals
Fun with Benji
Fun with Food
Mushrooms Chicken Chilli Chicken Chilli Scallops
So expect one more blog to wrap up 2021.

Always enjoy your photos and commentary. The lamp is perfect… and you do need to move busts down to Meg’s house!!
Great pictures as usual! And as usual….I’m hungry! Especially for chicken chili! Happy New Year to your family!
Funny-the first thing I noticed in the shot from the antique store was the busts. I’m always up for some good kitsch. Perhaps they’re still there & you can snag one or both of them for Meg’s BD? HAHAHA
The best to you and your family.
Snow, bird, wildlife, Benji, family and food! What more do you need?!
