Late September 2020

Feast or famine, last month I did five blogs but this month it looks like I will barely squeeze out two. It wasn’t for lack of content as we have had a pretty good month and I have a good start on the next blog. I just didn’t get it done.

Kayak Adventure I

Andrew joined us and we took Benji for another kayak adventure. This time Meg took him on the fishing kayak. There was more room for him there.

We didn’t bring one of the big cameras with us this trip. We ended up seeing quite a few things we would have like to take pictures of and the waterproof camera was not up to the task. Case in point, we saw a belted kingfisher and mostly what you can see is his profile.

We had so much fun the previous day, we decided to go out again and take one of the non waterproof cameras.

Fun with Food

We are all tired of self isolation but not yet ready to risk going to a restaurant, we even curtailed carryout once in person school started until we have a better understanding of the result. So we are reduced to eating Mark’s cooking. We keep trying new recipes looking for something Mark can actually cook. We are still trying to maintain some normalcy by observing mini BYOB’s on Friday nights.

Fun with Benji

I am more than half way to the next blog. So maybe I will do more than two in October.

We continue to muddle along on the home front. It looks like six more months of self isolation at least until a vaccine is fully distributed. We are tired of the self isolation and can get a little cranky with each other. On the other hand, we are well situated to stay the course.
