We spent thirteen days at four safari camps in or adjacent to Kruger National Park in South Africa. We spent four days in MalaMala, three in Shalati, four in Lukimbi and two in Jock. It was quite an adventure and we each had a favorite, Wink, Mark, Kate and Meg.
Wink’s Favorite – Babies Galore

Mark’s Favorite – Birds

It was often challenging to keep everyone focused on bird watching.
Kate’s Favorite – Black Rhinos

Black Rhinos are rare and this was the first time Kate had seen one in the wild.
Meg’s Favorite – Getting Dad to Africa

We were fortunate as the weather cooperate. They got a good rain right before we arrived and the bush was starting to green up. The Impalas were having their kids and there was abundant wildlife to observe. Spring in the bush is really spectacular. So everyone enjoyed the safaris and each had a high light.
