We are greening up but still have a hard frost every night. Every indication is that spring is just around the corner. We are making slow progress on our spring clean up. We finally disposed of the brush pile in the Bay Yard. It burned down to ash and was still smoldering in the morning.
Good news from Mark’s Folly: some fish survived the winter. It looks like 30 plus fish are still in the KOI Pond and Wink is back to feeding her pets.
BOIDS
We saw our first heron of the year. He was looking for food in the marsh grass.

Baya and Benji
We had a busy first week of April and time just seems to fly by.
Spring is heating up and out daffodils are starting to bloom, the turkeys are displaying and nature is at work.
It is a pleasant time to be in Newmarket.
