It is a relief to get our paperwork together, processed and submitted. Tax time is a time of year I dread even though we have someone to process the tax forms.
Kayak Adventure 2022-03
We have been out in the kayaks a couple of times and decided that we would like one for each member of the family so we could go as a group. So we decided to acquire a fourth Hobie Mirage Lynx kayak and Meg wanted to be different and get an orange one.
The next step was to try it out on the river behind Meg’s house. She has a convenient launching and landing spot.
We have upped our game a little and Meg got a gopro to add video to our adventures. Unfortunately I don’t have time to polish the video but will work on improving my video capability in the future. This is a quick snap shot of Meg’s river.

We are seeing more species of birds as the migrating birds return.

The turkeys are gearing up for spring mating season and think they own the yard.
The deer came to browse in the yard and there was some posturing by the turkeys and the deer. It didn’t come to blows but they also were not willing to share with each other.
Eventually dusk rolled around and the turkeys had to cede the ground to the deer.
