We are getting around and things are starting to feel a lot more normal, postCOVID. We are staying busy. There is gardening to do. We are also socializing in small groups. And we are getting out of the house.
Bedrock Gardens
We took an outing to visit Cyrus’ birthplace, Bedrock Gardens. I spent more time looking at the sculptures than I did at the gardens. Wink enjoyed the trip as well.
When you enter Bedrock Gardens, you are entering a world of magical proportions. There are all manner of creatures and not all of them friendly. So you want to be sure to get a guide and an escort.
Some of the creatures are friendly.
You have to keep your eyes open because danger can come from above.
Even insect bites can be dangerous.
There is also evidence of the existence of Dragons.
The inhabitants of this magical place need to be tough to face these daily dangers.
Thanks to our guide and escorting Knight, we got through the experience relatively unscathed.
BOIDS
The spring and summer birds are here now. We have rearranged the feeders for summer feeding.

Fun with Food
It is easy to make brownies from a mix, but which are the best? This line of inquiry is a rabbit hole, who knows where it might lead?
The consensus here is to keep the cookies and brownies separate but the results needed to be replicated independently before this is a settled issue.
We made carrot cake pancakes and they were quite good.
Fun with Benji
We got a new slow feeder for Benji. He still hasn’t mastered it.
May is beautiful here. We are quite busy and this was supposed to be a Cinco de Mayo blog. I just didn’t get it done.
Stay Healthy, Stay Safe.
