Early May 2021

Spring is in full force here. The fruit trees are in full bloom and it is just a really pretty time of year.

Home on the Bay

Every morning when I walk the dog, I check to see if the dock is in. Guess what I saw?

Dock

It sure looks like the dock is in. But I was shocked when I got to the dock. It sure seems like false advertising.

They have not completed the installation and it is not currently useable. But there is hope. We will be on the water soon. Now it is just a matter of weather, tide and schedule. Something to look forward to.

BOIDS

We have seen a hummingbird and have the hummingbird feeder up, but it is too skittish to get a picture. We have also seen a female Orchard Oriole and sadly no picture of her either. However we have a little eye candy for your enjoyment.

Fun with Food

Party animals are gonna party. And we have a lot of catching up to do………..

Our community organization has a bee keeping consortium and we had a honey tasting from last years efforts. The colony died out over the winter but there was enough honey left over for a honey tasting. We will try to reestablish the hive in a new location this year.

Fun with Benji

Benji

It has been a whole week since that last blog and you can easily see why my lament “Nuttin Evah Happens in NewMahket.” holds true.

Seriously, it is really a lovely time of year here. Watching the birds, listening to birdsong, interacting with friends, being outdoors, walking the dog, gardening results in a enjoyable season.

Stay safe, Stay Healthy,

Mark, Wink and Meg
