Hot Chicks in a Bath – Volume III

I haven’t set up the tripod yet, but the heat wave seems to continue for the next week, so I still have an opportunity. However, I seemed to have accumulated enough material for another blog. Hope this brings some more smiles.

When I took this set of pictures I thought it was of a pair of finches. When I got a look at them on the monitor, it brought a big smile to my face.

The male Baltimore Oriole also comes to the bird bath. He is pretty dainty.

You might be under the impression that all I do is sit around and take pictures. Well we all have problems with social isolation and this seems to be a suitable hobby.

  1. I love these pics. They make me happy. Your land must be a recognized refuge for the wildlife- and that fox though!

  2. I’ve never owned a birdbath. Is it as simple as that–just set one up, fill it, and they will come? Yours certainly seems to get a lot of action!
