Early December Nor’easter

We got an early welcome to winter this year. We had a slow moving Nor’easter that lasted more than two days and dumped half a meter of snow on us. I have documented it for my readers pleasure. I invited the California ladies to join us but they said ‘Thank You, No!

Storm Front Approaching

We got over twenty inches of snow in two batches, one Sunday night and the next on Monday night. We haven’t experienced this much snow this early since we moved to New Hampshire.

First Half of Snow

We got the snow blower out and set up the day before. We were lucky as there was plenty of warning for the impending storm.

The dog was not initially a fan of the storm. I took video for Meg of his reaction as I first took him out. The best you could say is that he was not excited, dubious dog. VIDEO HERE

Adjusting

The birds are swarming the bird feeders now that there is snow covering the ground.

This guy has been keeping an eye out for the birds.

Hawk

The turkeys are having a tough time navigating the snow. VIDEO HERE Benji is very interested in what the turkeys are doing in his yard.

We are slowly getting ready for Christmas. Hope to get another blog out before too long. Hard to type with a dog in your lap.
