Here Ye! Here Ye! Another Mark Blog

All my blogs are starting to look alike, just baby turkeys, baby deer and baby skunks. It is quite fun watching the babies grow up out our windows. The babies are slowly or not so slowly getting bigger. We still have baby birds being fed on our bird feeders.

We saw our first bucks in awhile. These guys seem to be about two year olds.

We are seeing quite a few birds. The Baltimore Orioles seemed to have moved on but the Orchard Orioles are still around. The blueberries are popular with quite a few species of birds.

On Monday night, the full moon coincided with a high tide. Someone had the idea to do a moon light paddle. So Jonathon, Mark and Ellen met at the dock at ten PM and went for a paddle.

So we headed East and paddled into the Lamprey River and went until we could see the Newmarket Mills. I was not steady enough with the waterproof camera to be able to get any pictures so I gave up and enjoyed the paddle. It was easy to see when the moon was at your back because my night vision was preserved. Paddling back to the dock, the moon was in my face and my vision was somewhat more limited. It was an interesting experience. I think I would do it again.

I have drafted the yard work blog, but it is not ready to post yet. I am considering retaking some of the pictures.

We have a heat wave today, and we have been working hard watering the plants to help them through the heat.

Nuttin continues to happen all around us.
