June 2019

I haven’t managed to blog in June yet, so there will be only one June blog.  The landscaping work is still ongoing and we are also working in the gardens. I traveled to the 2019 SAE Noise and Vibration Conference. Andrew and I also drove to Washington DC and delivered a car to my sister Nancy. We visited Gettysburg on the way down. All in all, it has been a busy month for me.

The weather has been wet. We have gotten a fair amount of rain this month. The plants are growing gangbusters. We have had a large crop of baby birds. The babies sit near the bird feeders demanding that the parents feed them. It is fairly entertaining.

We have been seeing the turkeys. The four amigos have been around today. We have a couple hens, we hope are sitting nests but we haven’t seen any babies yet.

This little guy is about as young a fawn as we have ever seen.

Young Deer

We have been seeing other deer. They haven’t all split up quite yet.

So it has been a busy June and I didn’t get as many pictures as I might have. We should have the landscaping project completed early next month. I will get some pictures posted once it is complete.

All for now…
