Tahiti Airbnb

We visited Mo’orea on our last stop prior to Tahiti. Here is a picture as we approach Mo’orea. From Mo’orea we went to Tahiti.

When we debarked from our cruise in Pape’ete, Tahiti we took a taxi to our Airbnb up the hill to drop off our luggage. Then we went to the airport and picked up our rental car. We could not get a rental car big enough to hold four people and all their luggage. But it worked out well.

We stayed at the Villa Manaeva in Pamata’i Hills. Here is the front entrance.

The villa is built into the hill and there is a landing at the top.

There is a set of stairs that leads to the floor with the office and bedrooms. The stairs continue down the main floor with the dining room, kitchen, laundry room and great room. The kitchen was well appointed.

There were four bedrooms and room for a small army in the Villa.

It was a very nice place to spend three days while we started to get our land kegs again. We had all our meals at the Villa and made good use of the kitchen. There were no screens on the windows and air conditioning was provided by the Pacific breeze.

We dropped off the rental car and Mark and Wink flew home to New Hampshire while Kate-Lynne and Meg continued on to Australia.

It was a grueling flight home but mostly uneventful.
